Mannai Auto wins GM Grandmasters Award

Mannai Auto Group has been recognised with the 10-Year Grandmasters Award for its Cadillac and GMC operations.It is the only dealership from the Middle East to receive this award for the two brands from General Motors (GM) this year, the company has said in a statement.The 10-Year Grandmasters award is one of the highest accolades granted by GM to its global dealer partners. The Grandmasters programme was created to reward GM’s best dealers, based on vehicle and parts sales, service, customer satisfaction and facility standards. Winners are selected on both the value and quality of their operations.Mohamed Helmy, group general manager, and Ivor D’Cunha, general manager (operations), represented Mannai Auto Group at the awards ceremony and meetings held this year in Barcelona, Spain.During this year’s Grandmasters programme, GM provided participants with an update on its business and plans for the future. It also highlighted some of the products planned for launch across international markets. The programme concluded with a gala dinner and awards ceremony for all participants.Helmy said: “Mannai Auto is honoured to be the only dealer from the Middle East to receive a Grandmasters Award for its Cadillac and GMC operations.” Mario A Spangenberg, president and managing director of GM Africa and Middle East, noted: “We congratulate Mannai on their fantastic achievement.” This was achieved not just in terms of sales volume, but also by consumer satisfaction and high after-sales service standards, the statement noted, adding: “Both Cadillac and GMC have been strong performers across categories in Qatar - a direct result of the exacting standards employed by GM across the customer engagement cycle, as well as the modern design language and technology advancements that define the current generations of both brands.”Now in its 13th year, the General Motors International Grandmasters programme was created to reward GM’s “best of the best” dealers from the Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific regions for their excellence. Some 124 winners are selected based on vehicle and parts sales, service, customer satisfaction and facility standards.Stefan Jacoby, GM executive vice-president and president of GM International, said: “Like GM, our Grandmasters are putting the customer at the centre of everything they do and building a culture to win.”
