Cultural delights on offer at Freej Aspire

This year’s Freej Aspire features a number of activities such as a traditional games area, a corner for traditional arts and henna, a cycling exhibition, fun children’s shows on the Freej Aspire Stage, children’s workshops on Arabic calligraphy and graffiti, miniature football fields and basketball courts, in addition to spaces for small and medium Qatari businesses to exhibit products and services. Aspire Zone Foundation hosted a number of officials and dignitaries at the opening ceremony on Friday, including its president Hilal al-Kuwari, acting CEO Mohamed Khalifa al-Suwaidi and others. Freej Aspire, which runs until June 19, offers members of the community the opportunity to enjoy a “unique cultural atmosphere” in an 8,000sq m area across from the Aspire Printing Press.
