Al Khalij Cement holds seminar on ‘Improving Concrete Quality’

Al Khalij Cement Company recently conducted a seminar on “Improving Concrete Quality,” which was delivered by Dr Karthik Obla, vice-president - Technical Services, at National Ready Mixed Concrete Association. The seminar, which targeted Al Khalij Cement’s clients, was attended by several managers and focused on the quality of concrete in light of technological advancements in the industry.Al Khalij Cement has “worked diligently” with its clients to ensuring high-quality output of cement and concrete, which strengthens the vision and brand of the company – “Committed to Build Qatar.” The seminar, which held for the first time outside the US, was also aimed at increasing awareness on the importance of concrete quality in order to reach international safety rates.Obla also presented state-of-the-art methods for producing high-quality and cost-effective concrete that meet international standards and specifications. He also explained monitoring and controls of production based on the most recent studies made in the US for companies in the industry.The Al Khalij Cement factory is working with two production lines after the start of the new production line, which utilises the same equipment and Danish design. Both lines will be producing 15,500 tonnes of cement per day.
