HH the Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani offered his condolences and sympathy to Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz al-Saud, Saudi Arabia’s newly-appointed Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, on the death of Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz al-Saud, at Al Salam Palace in Jeddah yesterday evening. HH the Heir Apparent also offered his condolences and sympathy to other members of the royal family on the death of Prince Nayef. HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad arrived in Jeddah earlier yesterday. The Heir Apparent and his accompanying delegation were greeted upon arrival at the King Abdulaziz International Airport by Jeddah Governor Prince Mishaal bin Majed bin Abdulaziz al-Saud and Qatar’s consul in Jeddah, Khamis Ibrahim al-Mohannadi. The Heir Apparent returned to Doha last night.
