Doha Bank holds event to honour its long-serving employees

Doha Bank hosted a ceremony at its West Bay head office to recognise and honour its long-serving employees, who have completed 10, 15, 20, 25, and 35 years of service. A total of 87 staff members were honoured at the ‘2016 Long-Service Awards’, including six retiring employees. The honorees included Farooq Ahmed Fazel Ahmed and Raisuddin Siddiqi Shamimuddin Siddiqi, who each have completed 35 years of service with the bank.Dr R Seetharaman, CEO of Doha Bank, said: “As a team-driven organisation, Doha Bank puts a lot of emphasis on creating a culture where every staff member feels connected to the company and has a stake in its success.  We truly believe that our employees are our most valuable asset, and one of our biggest strengths as an organisation has been the presence of a large pool of dedicated, long-term employees who work tirelessly to ensure the bank’s success.”He added: “Hosting this ceremony is our way of saying ‘thank you’ to these employees for their loyalty and commitment to Doha Bank over so many years.”
