Qatar, Bulgaria sign MoU on improving port facilities

Qatar and Bulgaria have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the development of facilities at the Qatar’s ports.The signing took place in the Bulgarian capital Sofia in the presence of Qatar’s Minister of Transport and Communications HE Jassim Seif Ahmed al-Sulaiti and Bulgarian Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Ivaylo Moskovski.The MoU was signed between Qatar Ports Management Company CEO Captain Abdulla al-Khanji and Bulgarian Ports Infrastructure Company director general Anguel Zabourtov.Al-Sulaiti also met his Bulgarian counterpart. This meeting was attended by Qatar’s ambassador to Bulgaria Mohamed Ali Saed al-Nuaimi and members of the delegation accompanying the minister.The two leaders  stressed the importance of exchange of expertise in the fields of civil aviation, information technology, e-government and cyber security.
