Tandem jump event at Al Khor from May 3

Qatar Air Sports Committee and Skydive Qatar have announced the first tandem jump event at Al Khor Airport from May 3 to 31.Qatar residents in good health can fly off on an aircraft with a team of professional certified skydivers to jump from approximately 13,000ft height.The event organisers announced yesterday that preparation work is already in progress at Al Khor Airport to have the location ready and suitable for either people who are interested to try the tandem jump and for spectators.The tandem jump with a professional certified instructor costs QR1,899 for individuals including photos and a video footage of before, after and during the jump. Tickets are available online at http://skydiveqatar.com/, Lagoona Mall, Qatar Foundation and Virgin Mega Stores. There are also special arrangements for certified skydivers who would like to take advantage of this event.Between May 3 and 31, skydiving will be available for 17 days (Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday with two sessions daily, at 9am and 1.30pm, for total capacity of more than 100 jumps per day.The event organisers also announced that the team of professional certified skydivers is expected to arrive to Qatar on April 23 along with female certified instructors who will be available to instruct and lead female participants.
