Racegoers attend Ladies Day, the second day of the Grand National Festival horse race meeting, at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool, northern England yesterday. The annual three-day meeting culminates in the Grand National which is run over a distance of four miles and four furlongs, and is the biggest betting race in the United Kingdom.
