HE the Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani yesterday met Oman’s outgoing ambassador to Qatar Mohamed bin Nasser bin Hamad al-Wahaibi on the occasion of ending his tenure in the country. HE the Prime Minister and Interior Minister wished the ambassador success in his future tasks and further wished progress and prosperity to ties between the State of Qatar and the Sultanate of Oman.Advisory Council chief meets Turkish officialHE the Secretary-General of the Advisory Council Fahad bin Mubarak al-Khayareen conferred yesterday with Turkish Grand National Assembly (TGNA) Secretary-General Dr Irfan Neziroglu. They discussed bilateral relations and aspects of co-operation between the two countries in the legislative field. The Secretary-General of the Advisory Council briefed TGNA Secretary-General on the mechanisms of work of the Advisory Council.Attorney General holds talks withtop US officialsHE the Attorney General Dr Ali bin Fetais al-Marri met separately in Washington with assistant to the US President Lisa Monaco, and Secretary of Homeland Security Jeh Johnson. During the two meetings, they discussed a number of issues of common concern.
