QATAR | Event Dimdex to open todayHH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani will inaugurate the Doha International Maritime Defence Exhibition and Conference (Dimdex) 2016 today. The three-day event, being held at the Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC), will see the participation of a number of defence ministers and chiefs of staff from various countries. It is expected to draw more than 9,000 visitors from some 60 countries. Around 180 Qatari and international companies will showcase the latest maritime security technologies.
