A Doha criminal court has ordered a man to pay a fine of QR3,000 for driving while intoxicated and hitting a vehicle from behind because of not keeping adequate distance.Local Arabic daily Arrayah reported yesterday that the court also punished the man with flogging. The motorist admitted during the interrogation that he had drunk three cans of beer before driving his vehicle.Being intoxicated influenced his concentration and caused the accident at Shamal Road, according to the police report.
