Memphis Grizzlies forward Matt Barnes was suspended for one game without pay and three members of the Milwaukee Bucks were fined for their roles in an altercation at the end of Thursday’s game between the teams, the NBA announced on Saturday.  The punishments were announced by NBA executive vice-president of basketball operations Kiki VandeWeghe. Barnes will sit out of the home game against the Los Angeles Clippers and lose nearly 40,000 dollars in salary.  In Milwaukee’s 96-86 home win over Memphis, Henson blocked a shot by Barnes with 5.5 seconds remaining and taunted Barnes afterward, staring him down. Barnes walked towards Henson and the players had to be separated.  Following a replay review, Henson was assessed a technical foul and was automatically ejected, having received a technical foul earlier in the game. He headed to the locker room raising his arms and inciting the crowd, throwing his jersey to a fan.  Barnes also was given a technical foul and was ejected for continuing to use obscenities. When he left the court, he sprinted down the runway followed by security personnel. The NBA said Barnes attempted to enter the Bucks’ locker room.  Bucks guard Greivis Vasquez of Venezuela was fined 15,000 dollars for following Henson to the locker room. Milwaukee forward Giannis Antetokounmpo of Greece and center Greg Monroe were fined 10,000 dollars each for their roles in the incident. Henson was not suspended or fined.  Barnes was suspended for two games without pay earlier this season for an off-court altercation during the preseason with former New York Knicks coach Derek Fisher, who was dating Barnes’ former wife.  The Grizzlies (39-30) are fifth in the Western Conference but are ravaged by injuries. Spanish star Marc Gasol is out for the season with a broken foot and guard Mario Chalmers was waived after tearing his Achilles tendon. Starter Mike Conley (Achilles) and PJ Hairston (groin) and reserves Chris Andersen (shoulder), Brandan Knight (knee) and Jordan Adams (knee) are also sidelined.  Guard Lance Stephenson is playing despite a wrist injury and forward Zach Randolph and reserve guard Vince Carter returned from injury absences against the Clippers. Barnes, 36, is averaging 9.6 points and 5.3 rebounds in 64 games this season, his 13th in the NBA.
