Emir and Putin discuss Syrian crisis

HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani yesterday held a telephone conversation with Russian President  Vladimir Putin. They discussed bilateral relations and ways to enhance them and exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues of joint interest.  The conversation also dealt with the situation in Syria and means to bring an end to the escalating crisis. They agreed to double efforts and intensify contacts to contribute to finding a solution to the Syrian crisis.
