Middle East retail major LuLu Group has opened its latest hypermarket in Kuwaitu2019s Egaila in the Ahmadi Governorate. This is LuLuu2019s 123rd outlet and the sixth in Kuwait. The 150,000-sq-ft hypermarket at Sama Mall in south Kuwait, was officially inaugurated by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry undersecretary Dr Abdullah S al-Owaisi, in the presence of Sheikh Malek al-Hamoud al-Malek al-Sahab, Indian ambassador Sunil Jain, LuLu Group chairman Yusuffali MA, CEO Saifee Rupawala, executive director Ashraf Ali MA, Lulu Kuwait regional director Mohamed Haris, and other several high-ranking officials from various government departments and representatives from local business communities. Yusuffali said the group has also plans to open four new hypermarkets in various regions of Kuwait in the next two years in a phased manner.
