20 hospitalised due to food poisoning

At least 20 school students were hospitalised in Sri Lanka after suffering from food poisoning yesterday, police said.The children, aged between eight and nine years, were students of a school in Veyangoda area of western Sri Lanka, Xinhua reported.The students had fallen ill after consuming a morning meal provided by the school and had been rushed to a nearby hospital by the school management.The police were investigating the matter.
