Sunderland sacks soccer star

Former Sunderland soccer player Adam Johnson arrives with his girlfriend Stacey Flounders at Bradford Crown Court in Bradford, northern England, yesterday.  Sunderland terminated Johnson’s contract, hours after the 28-year-old pleaded guilty to one count of sexual activity with a child and one charge of grooming. Adidas cancelled its contract with Johnson on Thursday.
