Gulf Times’ senior photographer Jayan Orma has won the second prize in the ‘Saud Al-Thani Photography Award’ in the worldwide general section in the colour prints category.
Working in Gulf Times since 1998, Orma’s entry pertained to an abseil worker cleaning a high-rise in the West Bay area of Doha. He has won many photography awards during his photo journalistic career with Gulf Times.
