Al-Attiyah closes in on Qatar Rally victory

Qatar racer Nasser bin Saleh al-Attiyah (below) maintained yesterday his lead at the Qatar International Rally. Al-Attiyah finished today’s stage in one hour and thirty seconds, 4:39 minutes from his compatriot Khalid al-Suwaidi. Yesterday’s stage began in front of Aqua Park and was 121.86 kilometres.  Today will be the final day of the rally. It’s divided to three stages with a total of 257.38km. Al-Attiyah and al-Suwaidi will be fighting over this year’s title.
