Brace for chilly weather, mercury may dip to 6 degrees

The mercury is expected to dip to 6 degrees Celsius in some parts of the country including Wakra and Mesaieed on Sunday, the met office has said.

Doha will be comparatively warmer at a minimum of 11 degrees and a maximum of 21 degrees. Some places in the country will experience strong winds and the seas will be choppy, the weather office said in its regular bulletin.

It will be very cold during the night, the statement added.
