Ooredoo’s self-service machines to accept Eid Charity donations

Ooredooand the Sheikh Eid Bin Mohamed Al-Thani Charitable Association (EidCharity) have announced a partnership to enable donations to the charityvia Ooredoo’s nationwide self-service machine (SSM) network. Theagreement, which was signed by Ooredoo chief sales & servicesofficer Ahmad Abdulaziz al-Neama and Eid Charity executive manager ofresources development & media Nawaf bin Abdullah al-Hammadi at aceremony in Ooredoo’s HQ1, outlined the partnership to allow Ooredoo SSMusers to donate in a “smart and effective manner”, according to astatement.With over 200 SSMs spread across the country, donations toEid Charity can soon be easily made through them by cash orcredit/debit card, 24/7, the statement adds.Donations can be madetowards a host of initiatives supporting human relief, medical projects,Holy Qur’an services, development projects, water well drilling, orphansponsorship and more. “Ooredoo has a long history of supporting andworking with Eid Charity and we’re proud to now be able to facilitate,in such a vital way, for Qatar’s people to help,” al-Neama said.“Weare delighted to be associated with Ooredoo and aim to bring about apositive social change in Qatar, for Qatar’s people,” al-Hammadi noted.This is the latest in a series of upgrades on Ooredoo’s network of SSMs.Inaddition to donating via the Ooredoo SSMs, customers can also payOoredoo Shahry and Kahramaa bills, top up Hala accounts and purchasevouchers for a range of shopping and dining experiences in Qatar.
