Doha to host GCC arbitrators’ conference

The 11th edition of the GCC arbitrators and lawyers conference will get under way in Doha on Saturday under the theme “A promising legal environment”.More than 300 people are expected to take part in the two-day conference.The event aims to provide specialised professionals with a free platform to exchange views and experiences on a number of issues and discuss the challenges involved and how to improve the practices of legal professionals, prompting a culture of arbitration. A number of speakers from the Qatar Financial Centre, Ministry of Justice, College of Law at Qatar University and the Ministry of Interior’s Police College are scheduled to take part in the event.
