Ooredoo sponsors Tunisian Days celebrations at Katara

Ooredoo has said it is one of the main sponsors of the Tunisian Days celebrations, which are being held at Katara – the Cultural Village until tomorrow.The weeklong celebrations have been designed to celebrate the arrival of Tunisian Prime Minister Habib Essid in Qatar as well as to promote the diverse Tunisian culture in Qatar and the achievements of modern Tunisia.Along with cultural activities such as traditional clothing, Tunisian products for sale, national music and dance, the celebrations aim to boost Tunisian-Qatari relations. Several senior Ooredoo executives attended the opening of the event, including COO Yousuf al-Kubaisi.“Sponsoring Tunisian Days is a perfect way to get involved with such a wonderful community-spirited event. As part of the agreement, Ooredoo is providing a special booth with a host of services available, including the easiest and the cheapest way to make international calls, according to a statement.Ooredoo’s support for the celebrations is in line with its corporate social responsibility strategy, which aims to provide sponsorship for a range of grassroots activities for the whole community, the statement adds.
