Turkish president due in Doha today

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan arrives in Doha today on a two-day official visit to Qatar. HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani and  President Erdogan will hold tomorrow the first meeting of the Qatar-Turkish Supreme Strategic Committee during which the two sides will discuss ways to enhance bilateral relations  in various fields. They will also review developments in the region. The meeting will be followed by the signing of a number of agreements and memoranda of understanding, mainly related  economy, commerce and education.
