LG’s new washing machines ‘built to cut back spin time’

LG Electronics has announced that it is offering consumers in Qatar the TurboWash, a new, advanced washing machine technology.“With the hectic pace of modern life, LG’s new revolutionary TurboWash technology focuses on cutting back spin times without compromising quality,” said C V Rappai, director and CEO, Video Home & Electronic Centre.LG washing machines with TurboWash are available across Jumbo Electronics stores and leading hypermarkets in Qatar. “The LG TurboWash is a result of infinite research and cutting-edge innovation, including its smart design, energy- and time-saving capabilities, 6-Motion Direct Drive technology and the TrueSteam technology. The Next 4 and Titan 27 employ this new technology from LG,” according to a statement.The new technology promises quicker washing times and better washing results, the statement notes. TurboWash highlights its laundry innovation as it is now able to finish a typical 95-minute cotton wash cycle within 59 minutes while maintaining the same level of quality. This cycle offers the added benefit of reducing energy consumption by up to 15% and water consumption by up to 40%. It provides the “dual convenience of lowering utility bills with faster washing times”.The 6-Motion Direct Drive technology helps provide an optimal washing environment, reducing wrinkles and damage in clothes and ensuring high fabric care. Key specifications include the Inverter Direct Drive motor (10-year warranty); TrueSteam, which provides for Steam Softener, Steam Refresh and Allergy Care; Speed 14” Quick Cycle; and an LED display.
