Assistant Foreign Minister chairs Qatar-British forum meeting

QNALondonThe second meeting of the forum on Qatar-British bilateral dialogue (UK-Qatar Partnership) was held in London, chaired by Qatar’s Assistant Foreign Minister for Foreign Affairs, HE Mohamed bin Abdullah al-Rumaihi and the Middle East Minister at the British Foreign Office, Tobias Ellwood. The two sides discussed a number of bilateral issues relating to security, defence, trade, investment, development, education, and culture and ways to enhance them.Meanwhile, Prince Andrew, the Duke of York, has met with al-Rumaihi and his accompanying delegation at the Buckingham Palace. They discussed ways to strengthen relations between the two countries and issues of common concern. The meeting was attended by Qatar’s ambassador in London, Yousuf bin Ali al-Khater, and the director of the European Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Khalid bin Rashid al-Mansouri.
