Qatar finish third in WAFF U-23 Championship

Qatar defeated Yemen 3-0 to claim third place in the 1st WAFF U-23 Championship yesterday. Qatar colts dominated the match played at the Abdullah bin Khalifa Stadium. Ahmed Abdelmotaal opened the scoring in the 18th minute with a header. Then Akram Afif scored a brilliant long ranger in the 57th minute. And Hamza Sanhaji found the back of the net in the 93rd minute to wrap up a win.
