Land Rover LR4 2015-2016 models recalled

The Ministry of Economy and Commerce (MEC), in collaboration with Alfardan Premier Motors, the dealer of Land Rover vehicles in Qatar, has announced the recall of Land Rover LR4 2015-2016 models due to defects in the anti-lock braking system.

The recall comes within the framework of the ongoing co-ordination and follow-up by the ministry to ascertain the dealers’ commitment to follow up defects and repair them to protect consumers’ rights.

The MEC has also affirmed that it will co-ordinate with Alfardan Premier Motors to follow up the necessary maintenance and repair processes and will communicate with clients to ensure the success of the recall campaign as well as the implementation of the procedures to fix defects.

Consumers can also submit their complaints through electronic systems installed in malls. These systems allow consumers to electronically communicate with the Department of Consumer Protection and Commercial Fraud Combat in a direct way.
