Environment minister meets Swiss official

HE the Minister of Environment Ahmed Amer Mohamed al-Humaidi with Professor Thomas Stocker, Switzerland’s candidate for the presidency of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change in Doha yesterday. Talks during the meeting dealt with climate change issues and Qatar’s efforts in this area, as well as its co-operation with relevant regional and international bodies. The meeting was attended by the Director of Climate Change department in the Ministry of Environment Abdulhadi Nasser al-Marri.
