HE the Minister of Finance and Chairman of the Qatar Financial Centre Authority (QFCA), Ali Sherif al-Emadi recently paid a visit to the QFC. He was welcomed by QFCA chief executive Yousuf al-Jaida and other senior officials. The minister was briefed on the current developments and future roadmap of the QFC. Established in 2005, the QFC is an on-shore centre that has become an integral part of Qatar’s economy and rapid growth story, fulfilling its mandate to help build a world-class financial and business environment in Qatar and providing a platform for domestic, regional and international growth.
