Al Meera commercial department receives ISO certification

Al Meera Consumer Goods Company has recently received the ISO 9001:2008 certification from Bureau Veritas Certification Holding SAS - UK Branch, for the activities of Al Meera’s commercial department. Al Meera deputy CEO Dr Mohamed Nasser al-Qahtani received the certificate from country chief executive Selim Kseib and Bureau Veritas certification manager Vishal Bhat during an awarding ceremony held at the Al Meera headquarters in Doha.The awarding of the certificate was witnessed by Al Meera’s commercial director, Karim Noui, and other senior officials of the company.The award includes the managing of contracts, selection re-evaluation of consumer goods suppliers that are serving Al Meera, and category review.  ISO 9001 is an internationally recognised quality management system that provides a framework for managing an organisation’s quality process. The certification ensures that Al Meera meets customer and legal requirements, continuously increases performance, improves customer satisfaction, and enhances financial performance.“I would like to thank the proficient team at Al Meera and Bureau Veritas for making this possible.
