India beat Bangladesh in third one-day to avoid whitewash

India beat Bangladesh by 77 runs in the third one-day international to avoid a whitewash in a three-match series on Wednesday.

Replying to India's 317-6, Bangladesh were all out for 240 in 47 overs at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in the Bangladeshi capital Dhaka.

The home side took the series 2-1 thanks to their 79-run and six-wicket win in the first two matches respectively.
