Al Araby TV launches new channel on Es’hail 1

Es’hailSat — the Qatar Satellite Company has announced that Al Araby Television Network has launched its new SD channel via the Es’hail 1 satellite located at the 25.5° East hotspot neighbourhood covering the Middle East and North Africa (Mena) region.Al Araby Television Network is a new channel based in London, which aims to be a platform for Arab youth, talent, energy and aspirations. With a mission to enrich the Arab media scene for a better future, the channel offers viewers entertainment, arts and creativity, according to a statement.Broadcasting in Arabic from its headquarters in London, Al Araby Television Network has a broad range of content, ranging from news to entertainment. The new SD channel is available exclusively on Es’hail 1 at 25.5° East and further adds to the line-up of content currently broadcasting via Es’hailSat.Viewers of orbital slot 26° east can still receive Al Araby TV channel, broadcasting both SD and HD from Es’hail 1 at 25.5° East, without changing their current reception system. They have to just set the frequency (11142), symbol rate (27500), polarisation (H) and FEC (3/4), the statement added.
