Actress served notice for Maggi commercial

Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit has been served a notice by Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for endorsing Maggi noodles, an official said yesterday. The actress is seen endorsing the two-minute noodle as a healthy food for children in a television commercial. The FDA in Uttar Pradesh had sought recall of a March 2014 batch Maggi packets after tests revealed dangerous-level of zinc and breach of the allowed limits of monosodium glutamate in it.
