Students from the Centre for Culinary Art Manila serve hundreds of Balut, a local delicacy of boiled duck embryo, on banana leaves in preparation for the boodle feast during an attempt to make a Guinness World Record in the Pateros municipality, Metro Manila yesterday. Participants aimed for a Guinness World Record for Largest Edible Serving of Balut attaining a record of 117.5 kilograms of Balut. The event aims to promote the local delicacy rather than a dare-food for foreign tourists, organiser said.
