Mediterranean International Cup (MIC) 2015’s Day 5 started with B class matches where Aspire Football Dreams beat 4-1 USA Regional 1 Select whereas FC Volendam were beaten by Sevilla FC (1-2).The tournament is being held in Costa Brava, in the north eastern coast of Spain.The Qataris played against Sevilla in the afternoon and managed to get a slot in the final against Alboraya UD.In the morning, Caribbean FC and Hakoah Amidar Ramat Gan were in for a penalty shootout after drawing 0-0 at the end of regulation time. With Real Madrid getting a 1-0 victory over RCD Espanyol, the group is set for an ‘El Clasico’.D Class saw a Clasico in the final with Real Madrid beating Barcelona 1-0.In E Class, Manchester City beat Unio Esportiva Quart 6-1 in the quarter-finals whereas Anji FC was beaten by Valencia 2-7.A bit later, in the first semi-final, RCD Espanyol beat Manchester City 5-0 leaving the category with no international teams. Espanyol then beat Valencia 3-2 in the final.Finally in G Class, CD Oberena, a team from Navarra North Spain beat Catalan side Uni? Esportiva Cabanes (2-1) and was proclaimed winner of the girls’ category.
