Barwa Bank appoints Sheikh Abdul Rahman as head of govt sector
Barwa Bank has announced the promotion of Sheikh Abdul Rahman bin Fahad al-Thani as head of Government Sector. Prior to joining Barwa Bank in 2011, Sheikh Abdul Rahman held senior roles at Qatar International Islamic Bank and the Islamic Bank of Britain in London. With more than seven years of experience in the corporate and government banking sectors, he has been recognised for his diligence, work ethics, and ability to cope with challenging business environments.Sheikh Abdul Rahman holds a bachelor’s degree in International Business Management from the University of North Umbria in the UK.
