An earthmover gets stuck in the swollen Jhelum river in Anantnag, Kashmir, yesterday. Nine people were killed in incidents of house collapse and landslide in Jammu and Kashmir yesterday. A police officer in Jammu said seven members of a family were killed when their house collapsed following incessant rain in the hilly Doda district of Jammu region. Two people were killed and two others injured in the border town of Uri in Baramulla district of the Kashmir Valley when they got trapped under a tree dislodged in a landslide.
