Emir meets Iranian Shura council speaker

HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani meeting with Iran Shura Council speaker Dr Ali Larijani at the Emiri Diwan yesterday.

QNA/DohaHH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani yesterday met Iran Shura Council speaker Dr Ali Larijani and his accompanying delegation. The meeting at the Emiri Diwan focused on bilateral relations and issues of mutual interest. The meeting was attended by Qatar Advisory Council speaker HE Mohamed bin Mubarak al-Khulaifi. The Advisory Council Speaker met separately with Larijani. The meeting was also attended by senior officials of the Shura Council and Iranian ambassador Dr Mohamed Jawad Asayis. HE the Foreign Minister Dr Khalid bin Mohamed Al Attiyah also held talks with Dr Larijani. Talks dealt with bilateral relations and a number of issues of mutual concern. Dr Larijani and his accompanying delegation left Doha yesterday evening, after their two-day official visit to Qatar.
