German minister to visit Doha soon

Germany’s economy minister, Sigmar Gabriel, is to visit Qatar as part of a regional tour. The minister, accompanied by a delegation of nearly 80 business leaders, yesterday, arrived in Saudi Arabia yesterday.  Gabriel is leader of Germany’s centre-left Social Democratic Party (SPD) and also the deputy chancellor in the government. He will tour the United Arab Emirates before coming to Qatar.
