Ooredoo provides state-of-the-art ‘Cloud Security Solution’ for Al Khaliji

Sheikh Nasser with al-Khalifa following the Ooredoo-Al Khaliji agreement on ‘Cloud Security Solution’.Ooredoo and Al Khalij Commercial Bank (Al Khaliji) have signed a new agreement that will see the former providing an integrated Cloud Security solution that will deliver the highest level of security for customer and institutional information. With levels of cyber-crime rising in the region, more and more financial organisations are upgrading their security systems to ensure that hackers and malware are unable to penetrate their defences. Al Khaliji is the first bank in Qatar and in GCC region to sign-up for Ooredoo’s Cloud Security, which is hosted at Ooredoo’s Data Centre, one of the “most advanced” data centres in the region. The solution manages and protects against online vulnerabilities for web, mobile and any newer channels of communication that use the Internet to share data. It covers some 400 users within Al Khaliji through an ‘Advanced Web Suite’ that is based at the Ooredoo Data Centre but which is accessible via “the cloud” anywhere in the world.
