A team from Al Khalij Commercial Bank (Al Khaliji) has visited Qatar Orphan Foundation (Dhreima).

The initiative was marked by a contribution towards supporting the finances of the institution.

Al Khaliji’s team was led by Hamad al-Kubaisi, Al Khaliji Group head of Human Resources, and other senior representatives of the bank.

The team met with Issa al-Kuwari, Human Resources director, and representatives of Dhreima.

After being briefed on Dhreima’s mission and goals, the team took a tour of the facility. Al Khaliji’s team commended Dhreima’s personnel for their dedication and hard work and for helping orphaned children live with all necessities provided.

On their part, the Dhreima team thanked al khaliji for the contribution and continued interest in supporting Dhreima’s initiatives.

Dhreima started operating in May 2003 after the official opening of the complex by Dhreima founder HH Sheikha Moza bint Nasser with the aim of providing care and accommodation through an integrated Islamic system of care and shelter for orphans in Qatar to achieve family stability and contribute to social development.

As part of Al Khaliji’s corporate social responsibility strategy, the bank is devoted to supporting all segments of the local community in ways that can foster positive change in the lives of people and achieve social solidarity.
