Ahlibank opens branch in Umm Lakhba

Ahlibank has opened a new branch in Umm Lakhba as part of its efforts to expand its geographic footprint within Qatar.The branch has been opened to the public ahead of an official opening ceremony planned for early January.The branch at Umm Lakhba, features the bank’s new brand identity, which is being rolled out across the network.“With total assets in excess of QR28bn as of September 2014 and continued strong annual results, Ahlibank remains on a secure footing as we move into 2015 and is well positioned to take advantage of Qatar’s growth economy,” Salah Murad, CEO, Ahlibank, said. He added that the bank has looked at the entire product range and invested across banking services to meet its aim of bringing tomorrow’s banking to Qatar, today.“We are also investing in our technology, which will allow us to be with our customers, whenever and wherever they are in the world. These developments are just the start, and we have some exciting plans in the pipeline as we move into 2015 and beyond,” Andrew McKechnie, deputy CEO (Retail), said.
