HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani arrived in London yesterday evening, starting an official visit to the United Kingdom. The Emir was greeted upon arrival at Heathrow Airport by the Lord St John of Bletso, representative of Queen Elizabeth II, a number of British officials, Qatar’s ambassador to the United Kingdom, Yousef bin Ali al-Khater and British ambassador to Qatar, Nicholas Hopton. An official delegation is accompanying the Emir during the visit.
