Al Sadd face a tough outing against Qatar Sports Club in the Qatar Stars League today, hoping to maintain their blistering scoring form this season. Yet things won’t be easy for the Wolves as Qatar Sports Club have transformed themselves this season after a slow start to their campaign, and with new head coach Radhi Shenaishil at the helm it will be difficult to say who will come out on top in this encounter.

The Kings have the current QSL top scorer in Hamadi Harbaoui in their ranks.  He joined the QSC this season from the Belgian Pro League where he finished top scorer last season. The Tunisian forward has seven goals to his name and looks a real threat against any opponent.

Al Sadd, perhaps have already played one of their biggest games of the season when they beat last season’s champions Lekhwiya 3-0 in round 6 and the Wolves will be hoping to continue to pull away from the chasing pack in their upcoming clash.

However the timing for Sadd head coach Hussein Ammouta couldn’t be worse as the Kings are a rejuvenated outfit that will be looking to get another major scalp tonight.

On paper Al Sadd have the history and pedigree that would make one think it’s going to be a mere formality, but the Kings have gone on a run of great wins except in their loss to El Jaish in round 7.

Qatar SC sit in fourth place in the standings and knows that they must win if they harbour any ambitions of a top four finish or better. Their task may have be made easier with the continued absence of Al Sadd‘s star signing Muriqui. The Brazilian is still a doubt and may not feature until rounds 10 or 11.
