Ecuador president ends Doha visit

President of Ecuador Rafael Correa left Doha yesterday after an official visit to Qatar. The Ecuadorean president and his accompanying delegation were seen off at Hamad International Airport by HE the Minister of Finance Ali Sherif al-Emadi, Qatar’s Ambassador to Ecuador Hassan Ibrahim al-Malki and the Ecuadorian ambassador in Doha Kabalan Abi Saab. Separately, yesterday, HE the Minister of Energy and Industry Dr Mohamed bin Saleh al-Sada held a meeting with Ecuador’s Co-ordinating Minister of Strategic Sectors Rafael Poveda in Doha. They reviewed bilateral relations and issues of joint interest.
