Brigadier Saud Rashid al-Shafi and Brigadier Ahmad al-Jamal at a briefing to announce the contracts at Milipol yesterday.
Contracts totalling QR309mn were signed during the three-day Milipol Qatar 2014 that concluded yesterday.
Announcing this director of Procurement at general directorate of logistics at the Ministry of Interior (MoI) Brigadier Saud Rashid al-Shafi and director of financial affairs Brigadier Ahmad al-Jamal said contracts worth QR121.3mn were signed on the second day of the exposition.
Brig Al-Shafi said a contract worth QR43.5mn was concluded with Abdullah Abdul Ghani & Bros for supplying 343 vehicles for different security departments at the MoI.
Another contract was signed with Gulf Business Machines (GBM) for developing MoI network infrastructure and supplying related programmes for QR38.5mn.
A deal worth QR2.5mn was signed with Mannai Trading Co for supply of 17 vehicles.
A QR33mn contract for the supply of 15 civil defence vehicles and firefighting and rescue equipment was inked with Al-Fahad Trading and Contracting.
Another contract worth QR3.8mn was made with Eshhar Security Services for supply of 11 traffic radars and 10 truck weighbridges.
