Darwish Holding has been honoured by Sony Middle East and Africa with the ‘Outstanding Contribution to 4K Television Sales Award for 2013-2014’. |
Bader Abdullah al-Darwish, chairman and managing director of Darwish Holding, received the award from Satoru Arai, head of Sony Middle East, during his visit to Qatar earlier this month.
The award honours the achievements of Darwish Holding, the exclusive dealer of Sony in Qatar, in driving 4K television sales. This has established Darwish Holding as a key contributor of the success of the product in Qatar and the region.
Al-Darwish said: “We are honoured to receive the award from Sony. It underlines our strong position in boosting the electronics retail sector of local and regional markets, and further builds on our global reputation as an innovative and committed retailer. It is also a mark of the confidence that our customers have in us and on the high-end Sony brand. Darwish Technology and Sony Middle East and Africa, had announced last month the launch of three new series of the BRAVIA 4K LED TV, comprising five models, offering customers with enhanced options while purchasing a 4K TV.
The new 4K LED TV is available at all Fifty One East outlets located in Al Maha Centre, City Centre Doha and Lagoona Mall in addition to all Virgin Megastores at Villaggio and Landmark malls.
