Ooredoo launches new Hala welcome pack promotion

Ooredoo has launched an offer for all customers buying a new Hala SIM card in Qatar, offering a bundle of preloaded 250 local call minutes to call Ooredoo numbers and 250MB mobile data for QR25.

The new Hala SIM card offer, which is available for three months, has been launched to welcome new arrivals in Qatar with a starter pack bundle as well as offer a low-cost package of minutes and data for new users already in Qatar, according to a statement issued yesterday.

The promotion offers users the chance to stay connected with the free 250 preloaded Ooredoo minutes and 250MB bonus data. It runs until December 31.

Once the SIM card is activated, the 250 local Ooredoo minutes and data will be valid for seven days. After this period, users will need to add credit to their account to keep the SIM card activated.

Ooredoo is anticipating strong demand for the offer as it continues to expand its Ooredoo shops and authorised dealer presence both across the country and at Hamad International Airport, the statement said.

As well as an official Ooredoo booth, which is positioned by the arrivals exit, Ooredoo services are available at all Qatar Duty Free shops located throughout the airport.

For reduced call rates to other countries, prepaid customers can also subscribe to the Hala International Saver Key for the “lowest” international calling rates of 45Dhs/min to 121 countries and 10Dhs/min to all Ooredoo numbers in Qatar, the statement added.
