Al Rayyan stadium roundabout razed

The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has eliminated the Al Rayyan stadium roundabout since September 6, making it part of a freeway road that is open in both directions, it was announced yesterday.

The development is part of Ashghal’s work on the Dukhan Highway – central, and road works extending from Al Rayyan Stadium roundabout to Al Shahaniya interchange.

With the elimination of Al Rayyan stadium roundabout, road users heading towards Al Shahaniya interchange who wish to make a U-turn will now need to use Al Duhailiyyat roundabout.

The service roads are now completely open to traffic in both directions as shown in the map.
