RAF gives aid worth QR6mn to needy families

Sheikh Thani Bin Abdullah Foundation for Humanitarian Services (RAF) has provided humanitarian aid worth more than QR6mn as part of its Tara hum (compassion) project during the past four months.  

In a statement released here yesterday, RAF said that the aid will benefit 1,123 needy families (citizens and residents).  

The aid was distributed to needy families for repayment of debts, meeting medical treatment expenses, marriage expenditure, and rental dues. It also included other forms of material assistance.

RAF added that the financial aid is distributed to the needy families , low-income people in the country after confirmation of their eligibility.  

As part of its social responsibility towards the Qatari community, RAF provides a number of humanitarian projects inside the country so as to maintain the safety of families and community cohesion.
